Our History:
Logos Education began in 2022 as a way to help friends apply to US and UK universities through the UCAS and Common App systems. During this type, we kept seeing the same pattern behind successful applications: passionate students who were willing to apply themselves both in academics and beyond. To help more students join these successful applicants in top universities, Founder Joshua Yen formalised Logos Education to provide high quality and affordable college application advice to help prospective university students get into their dream universities.
To aid this goal, Joshua has put together a team of students and alumnus of top universities around the world, ranging from Oxbridge to Ivy Leagues, to provide you with the best tips and tricks to help you maximise your chances in getting into your dream universities. We provide services, both paid and free, to help anyone, regardless of their background, to achieve their dreams.
In 2025, as part of Logos Education, given Joshua’s focus on Philosophy and Theology, we also launched Philosophy Circle, a sister initiative to develop critical thinking and to guide those aiming to develop an appreciation for these fields. Through Philosophy Circle, we host reading groups, Socratic dialogue, and seminars to cultivate rigorous thinking and charitable dialogue.
Today, the two stands serve our one goal of fostering sharp thought and clear communication, skills essential for both university application and broader life. Logos Education helps applicants craft persuasive statements and strong interviews; Philosophy Circle develops writing, thinking, and presentation.

Our Founder
Joshua Yen is an MPhil Student at the University of Oxford reading Philosophical Theology. He is a published author and is regularly invited to speak at churches and schools to share his experiences and knowledge of his research as well as university admissions. When he is not working, Joshua is often found fishing or playing football.
